NY Apple Protein Skewers
These tasty skewers are super fun to make and are a great source of protein, fiber and nutrients.
- 4 New York State apples, cored and sliced into wedges
- ½ pound sliced deli turkey
- ½ pound sliced deli ham
- 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
- 4 ounces Swiss cheese, cubed
- Roll turkey and ham to make them easier to skewer. Arrange with cheese cubes and NY apple wedges on a serving platter.
- Add one apple slice, one cube of cheese, and one rolled slice of meat to each skewer. Enjoy at home or pack into a container for an easy on-the-go snack!
