Jonagold, Apricot and Cherry Delight with Goat Cheese

This creamy and dreamy recipe brings out the mild, earthy, buttery, and yet tart flavor of goat cheese while bringing out the tanginess of the dried cherries and the sweetness of the dried apricots, along with a bit of dazzle of sweetness and tang. This unexpected pairing is a gold-star recipe all the way. These are tasty little treats, and the jewel tones make for a visually stunning appetizer.


  • 1 NY Jonagold apple, diced into small cubes.
  • 5 oz. of herbed or plain goat cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1/3 cup chopped dried cherries
  • 10 table water crackers


  1. Combine diced apples, cherries, and apricots in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Spread about one teaspoon of goat cheese onto each of your water crackers and arrange them on a serving plate.
  3. Evenly sprinkle a generous tablespoon of apple mixture on top of each cracker.
